EdogawaConan: Hattori? *sits up and looks over at the other boy* You OK?
EdogawaConan: Forgot you were little, didn't you? *reaches for his glasses*
AkechiNiiku: Yeah. I didn’t wake ya up, did I?
EdogawaConan: No, I was waking up anyway.
EdogawaConan: We probably have at least a little time before the girls will start wondering where we are...we should figure out what we're going to tell them....
AkechiNiiku: Right.. Like how Heiji's going to be at the clinic... *sweats*
EdogawaConan: All day?
EdogawaConan: You sure that'll work?
AkechiNiiku: Ahou, I meant how are they gonna believe I am there?

MouriRan: Ohayou, Kazuha-chan! *smiles* I had a nightmare, but I managed to fall asleep again after it... *sweatdrop* and you?
EdogawaConan: *shrug* I suppose. But you'll have to come up with where you're running off to.
ToyamaKazuha: I slept ok. What was your nightmare about?
AkechiNiiku: It'll just be a few more hours...
EdogawaConan: Hopefully...
MouriRan: No-- nothing, really! *shakes her head* I-- I'll prepare breakfast! *runs*

* EdogawaConan has already gotten dressed while they were talking, and glances over to see if Hattori is decent.
HaibaraAi: Ne, Hakase wants to know what you guys want for breakfast! *dully*
EdogawaConan: Um...toast or cereal works....
* AkechiNiiku pulling on his shirt

* HaibaraAi nods and starts walking away, then turns back.
HaibaraAi: By the way, if you're wondering about the drug, you have at least 12 hours left. *walks downstairs*
EdogawaConan: We'll have to figure something out....
MouriRan: Done! *smiles* Breakfast is ready, Kazuha-chan!
ToyamaKazuha: Thanks! *sits down at the table*
AkechiNiiku: Yeah... I would go in overdrive and say I am in the contamination ward.. But that'd be overkill...
EdogawaConan: No... we should probably try the excuse of getting called away on a case right after you recovered or something....
AkechiNiiku: Yeah, we're murder magnets, all we hafta do is walk somewhere and make a case happen.
AkechiNiiku: I see what you are sayin'. It's only for 12 more hours.
AkechiNiiku: We better eat.. Those two will start wondering soon enough...
* AkechiNiiku exits the room and goes downstairs
EdogawaConan: \At least you're not stuck for months on end like this....\
* EdogawaConan follows Niiku downstairs.
MouriRan: I'm going to take a bath. If you need me, just knock~ *smiles and rushes into the bathroom* /Why...?! This... this bad feeling.../

AgasaHakase: Oh good morning! How are you feeling Hattori-kun?

AkechiNiiku: A little better... My cold's still botherin' me...

EdogawaConan: We have time for breakfast first.

* EdogawaConan sits down at the table.
EdogawaConan: So...I guess we say we decided to work on the project at my place instead?
AkechiNiiku: Ah. Or continue it there.

HaibaraAi: Ne, if Toyama-san thinks you're still at the clinic, they might be on there way there...

* EdogawaConan heads up the stairs.

* MouriRan is taking a shower

AkechiNiiku: He- Hello, Kazuha-neesan... *hiding behind Conan*

* EdogawaConan steps away and pulls Niiku out into the open.

* HaibaraAi smirks

MouriRan: Conan-kun? Is that you? *from the bath*

* ToyamaKazuha hugs Niiku and walks into the kitchen for something to drink

EdogawaConan: See? *quietly to Niiku* You're fine.
AkechiNiiku: Sorry. *slightly bows*
MouriRan: Do you want something for breakfast?
AkechiNiiku: Conan-kun said it'd be better to finish our project here. I hope you don't mind.

* EdogawaConan grabs a book and starts trying to read it, at least to cover the blush rising in his face. He has the book upside-down, though, because he's not paying attention.
* AkechiNiiku mentally slaps self for even thinking about Kazuha... being in the shower...
* HaibaraAi snickers at their faces and actions.
AkechiNiiku: \Shaddup\ *dry look at Haibara*
HaibaraAi: \It was definitely worth it coming along.\
MouriRan: *gets out of the bathroom, dressed* You can use the shower, Kazuha-chan!... ah? Conan-kun... *smiles at him and takes the book, putting it in the right position* There. *smiles again*
ToyamaKazuha: Ok, Ran-chan. I shouldn’t be long.
EdogawaConan: Uh...ah....T-thanks, Ran-neechan...*turns even brighter red and tries to hide behind the books again*
* ToyamaKazuha gathers her things and heads into the shower
MouriRan: \He's... blushing?\ *blinks and stares at Ai* \Oh... I'm sure it's because she's in the room! I knew it!\
EdogawaConan: \No, Ran...not her...you. *stifles mental images again*\ *turns even more red*
* HaibaraAi gives a strange look at Ran smiling at her.
* ToyamaKazuha steps out of the shower, dressed
ToyamaKazuha: Ok, I am out of the shower
ToyamaKazuha: Ran-chan, maybe we should go see Heiji at the clinic, I am worried about him.
MouriRan: You're right...
MouriRan: I'm also worried.
EdogawaConan: Ah, Heiji-niichan's not at the clinic anymore!
EdogawaConan: He recovered last night...but then he got called out on a case early this morning....
EdogawaConan: 'Cause they couldn't wake up ojisan...
ToyamaKazuha: That ahou......cases cases cases
MouriRan: A... case? *raises eyebrow* \Am I having a deja vú...?\
ToyamaKazuha: Doesn't even take the time to rest and make sure he is completely well!

* ToyamaKazuha bends down and death glares Conan

* MouriRan points at the bathroom
AkechiNiiku: Thank you. *rushes to the bathroom*

MouriRan: Kazuha-chan, calm down! *picks up Conan* He's just a kid! Call him if you want to know where he is!
* EdogawaConan shoots a slight glare at Haibara, this whole mess is her fault for not labeling the medicine.
EdogawaConan: *squeaks at being picked up and turns bright red* R-Ran-neechan! Put me down! Please?
ToyamaKazuha: Fine! *dials Heiji's number*
MouriRan: I know you're worried about him... I can understand how you feel.
* HaibaraAi glares back at Conan
AkechiNiiku: *slightly panics and takes the tie out of his pocket that he took from Kudou while he wasn't looking.* *H* Oi, Hattori.
ToyamaKazuha: Heiji?
ToyamaKazuha: Are you ok? Where are you?
MouriRan: Uh? *blinks* Sorry... *puts him down*
EdogawaConan: \Up to you now, Hattori. Maybe after this mess you'll understand, and you won't keep calling me Kudou where the girls can hear!\
EdogawaConan: Th-thanks...*still bright red*
* MouriRan smiles at Conan and Ai
EdogawaConan: \Ran....it's still not what you're thinking....\ *smiles up at Ran*
AkechiNiiku: Oh, Kazuha. Sorry for not callin' ya. I kinda forgot. Well, I got called in a case 'cause that Occhan was asleep.
ToyamaKazuha: What are you doing out on a case? You should be resting. Do you want to get sick again?
AkechiNiiku: I'm fine. Quit worryin' about me. I can take care of myself ya know.
MouriRan: *whispering to herself* I guess I look like that when I'm yelling at Shinichi... *dot eyes* Heh... heh... *nervous smile*
ToyamaKazuha: Somehow I doubt that. It seems like every other time you get hurt.
EdogawaConan: \Yeah....you do....\ *sigh* \I really want to get my own body back, so I can come home.\
AkechiNiiku: I'll be fine! I'll be back later tonight. All right?
ToyamaKazuha: Do you promise?
AkechiNiiku: Yeah. I'll definitely be done by then.
EdogawaConan: \Uh-oh...Hattori, what are you promising her?\
MouriRan: *feels a little pain in her chest -angst-, as if she where watching herself when Kazuha said 'You promise'* ... *sighs, feeling she's watching their story as if it where a soap*
EdogawaConan: \We don't know for sure that it'll wear off in 24 hours...\
* EdogawaConan is starting to look a little worried.
HaibaraAi: \Baka-ne\
ToyamaKazuha: Ok, I guess I will see you tonight then.....
AkechiNiiku: Yeah, I gotta get back. Some of the important suspects are comin'. see ya. *hangs up*
EdogawaConan: \Baarou! We don't know for sure how fast the stuff will wear off!! What were you thinking??\
* ToyamaKazuha looks sadly at phone
MouriRan: \Keep your promise, Hattori-kun... whatever it is...\ *sighs*
ToyamaKazuha: I hope he comes back
MouriRan: Tonight? So he's coming back! *smiles at Kazuha* You don’t... seem happy.
EdogawaConan: \I hope so too....\
MouriRan: Is something wrong?
EdogawaConan: Kazuha-neechan? Are you alright?
* HaibaraAi sighs sadly.
AkechiNiiku: *sighs* Hopefully it will wear off.. Or I'll be done for... *turns on the faucet and flushes the toilet.*
AkechiNiiku: *comes outside and stands next to Conan*
HaibaraAi: \Let's hope I didn't make a mistake...\
* EdogawaConan shoots a slight glare at Niiku for the idiotic promise.
ToyamaKazuha: I'm ok, Ran-chan
AkechiNiiku: *dry look in return*
EdogawaConan: *whispers to Niiku* That was dumb. What if it doesn't wear off as fast as we thought?
MouriRan: He'll keep his promise! *stares at Kazuha* You have to trust him. *even if she wants to cover it, she's talking to Kazuha, and to herself*
* EdogawaConan looks wistfully at Ran, but is trying not to be noticed.
AkechiNiiku: It's gotta. I don't see why it would be permanent. There is no way chisaiineechan made the whole drug, right? It could be missin' components.
EdogawaConan: *sigh* *whispers back* The first time she made the antidote it lasted closer to 36 hours than 24.
HaibaraAi: It's true it shouldn't last long, 24 hours was only an estimate...
EdogawaConan: An estimate you gave without your usual poking and prodding either...so who knows.
EdogawaConan: It might last longer.
MouriRan: Smile! Take off that sad face... *smiles at her* Just... think what he would say if he saw you like this! He would probably say you're worrying too much, right?
AkechiNiiku: If I gotta make up another excuse, I'll just say I am stuck outside of

* ToyamaKazuha smiles
ToyamaKazuha: Yeah, I guess.
MouriRan: Way better!
AkechiNiiku: I just assumed it was in your pocket. An easy grab. *hands it back to him*
EdogawaConan: *glares at Niiku* Next time you want to borrow it, just ask. Or I'll start calling you KID.
AkechiNiiku: Ahou, I couldn't ask. Kazuha was gonna call me at any moment

MouriRan: Do you guys need help with your project? *sits next to Ai*
EdogawaConan: So what is our supposed ‘school project’ going to be on?
AkechiNiiku: \Something kid-ish...\ Dinosaurs!

EdogawaConan: Should we go to the library for research? I don't think we have anything here on dinosaurs...
AkechiNiiku: Just play the story along with nee-chan so we can pass the time
EdogawaConan: Well, would you rather spend the day here or in the library?
AkechiNiiku: I guess we could just be in your room or somethin'..
HaibaraAi: *to Ran* Ah, it seems it's about dinosaurs *mentally rolls her eyes*
AkechiNiiku: Oh yeah, the Library would make more sense
AkechiNiiku: I can catch up on my Ellery Queen reading
EdogawaConan: I don't have my own room. I just have a futon on the floor in Occhan's room. You know that.
EdogawaConan: *sigh* Then...let's go to the library.
AkechiNiiku: *blinks* Wow, must be hard to sleep next to that guy every night.
MouriRan: That's very interesting! *smiles*
EdogawaConan: Ne, Haibara? I can't find any of the books we need here....let's go to the library and see if we can find something...

ToyamaKazuha: Ok, you kids have fun at the library!
AkechiNiiku: We will. *trudges behind Conan and Haibara*
{Their day at the library passes uneventfully, and it's now almost time for dinner}
* AkechiNiiku yawns
AkechiNiiku: I guess we better get goin'.
EdogawaConan: Tired already?
AkechiNiiku: Kazuha and Neechan are gonna wonder where we are for dinner.
* HaibaraAi yawns as well from boredom.
AkechiNiiku: Yeah I'm tired. I've been readin' for hours on end...
AkechiNiiku: Mostly bored..
EdogawaConan: Let's go. Ran probably has dinner about ready...
* EdogawaConan heads out, followed by the other two.
* MouriRan is at the phone
* AkechiNiiku enters the detective agency.
* EdogawaConan walks in right after.
EdogawaConan: Tadaima!
ToyamaKazuha: welcome back, Niiku-kun, Conan-kun!
MouriRan: Thanks a lot! *blushes* Yes... Well, see you tomorrow! *hangs up and smiles* Welcome home, Conan-kun... Ai-chan, Niiku-kun.
HaibaraAi: We should be getting back home. *yawns again*
AkechiNiiku: I'll walk back with you, Haibara-san.
HaibaraAi: See you tomorrow *w* We'll call you with the results.
EdogawaConan: OK. Thanks.

* AgasaHakase comes up from the basement.
AkechiNiiku: Yo, Hakase. I guess it's time for me to supposedly grow. Where are my clothes?
AgasaHakase: Ah, upstairs in the room you stayed in.
AgasaHakase: Were the girls suspicious?
HaibaraAi: He made up the excuse that he was on a case...sound familiar?
AkechiNiiku: No, but Kazuha was pretty worried. I promised I'd be back tonight. I'll be dead if it doesn't wear off
AkechiNiiku: *dry look.* I wouldn't use that if it was long term
AkechiNiiku: Then it really would seem suspicious!
AkechiNiiku: I feel hot again...
AkechiNiiku: I guess I'm revertin' back. *makes his way upstairs.* Told ya things would be all right, Chisaii-neechan
* AkechiNiiku to the room and grows back.
* HattoriHeiji pants
HattoriHeiji: Man, that's painful. Now I know how Kudou feels. *frowns, feeling bad for having his body back. \Sorry, Kudou. But you'll definitely get your body back. And I'll be there to fight with ya!\
