Narrator: LAST TIME, ON DETECTIVE CONAN
Narrator: LAST TIME, on Detective Conan!
Narrator: Ayumi and Heiji were kidnapped by Gin, Vodka, Korn, Chianti, and Vermouth
Narrator: As Conan, Mitsuhiko, and Agasa realized the fake, Conan fled following the tracker to save Ayumi and Heiji, now with the knowledge that Ran is in custody.
Narrator: And Kir was there too.
Narrator: Vermouth tried to leave, but Agasa stopped her.
Narrator: Haibara now must hide before Vermouth arrives at the hotel, and Mitsuhiko will do anything to save her.
Narrator: Heiji had his kneecap shot by Vodka, and Conan is trying to face off with the Black Organization without endangering or giving himself away to Ayumi and Ran!
Narrator: With Ran LITERALLY hanging in the balance, as well as the lives of everyone, will they be able to make it away from this scot-free?
Narrator: [Cue title!]

Narrator: [Cue scene!]
{Inside the warehouse as they face off against Gin and Vodka}
Gin: Kudou Shinichi-kun.
Ayumi: Where's Shinichi-oniisan? *whispering to Conan*
Gin: I have one last thing to tell you before you die.
Gin: You should have known I'd come into this holding all the cards.
* Gin points his gun at Ran.
HattoriHeiji: Heiji glared at him bitterly
Gin: Come out, or your girlfriend dies with you!
RanMouri: ...!
* Ayumi notices Gin about to shoot Ran, and thinks that she HAS to do something about that....
RanMouri: DONT COME OUT, SHINICHI!
* Vodka stares Ayumi down.
HattoriHeiji: 'Crap. How did I end up like this? You ahou! Letting things get the better of you... Now you can't even defend yourself let alone everyone else! Kudou... I'm sorry...' He bit his lower lip
* Ayumi franticly looks for SOMETHING she can move on the machine, that might help Ran...
Ayumi: Conan-kun...*frightened whisper* Where's Shinichi-oniisan?
EdogawaConan: *closes his eyes, his hand falling from his bowtie, then turns and steps out from behind the contraption, facing Gin*
RanMouri: Conan-kun! RUN!
HattoriHeiji: 'Kudou!!!'
Gin: Another kid?
Ayumi: Conan-kun!
HattoriHeiji: "Don't you ahou!"
RanMouri: *crying* HIDE, CONAN!
Gin: I didn't think he had another rat working for him.
* Ayumi grabs Conan's arm and tries to pull him back behind the machine
HattoriHeiji: Heiji tries desperately to crawl closer. But the pain is too much.
EdogawaConan: *frowns slightly at Gin, his eyes narrowing, one hand in his pocket, standing firmly despite Ayumi pulling on him* I'm right here... Gin.
Gin: You're alone?
Gin: Hmph. I expected he'd come himself.
Ayumi: Conan-kun....*frantic now*
* Gin pulls the badge out of his pocket.
* Gin yells into it.
* Ayumi realizes that's her badge and drops Conan's arm, knowing it's HER fault they got into this.
Gin: TANTEI-SAN!
Gin: COME, OR YOUR GIRLFRIEND DIES!
Vodka: Stop sending children to do your dirty work!
* Vodka looks around frantically.
EdogawaConan: .... *smirks, realizing Gin didn't fully understand what he just said; his badge is still with Hakase*
Narrator: What?!
RanMouri: ...! S-- stay right there, Conan-kun--- DONT come here---
* ProfessorAgasa is freaked out from way far away.
* Ayumi glances around, notices a lever on the machine, and decides that she has to at least do SOMETHING...so she pushes it.
* Gin hears the machinery begin to make metallic sounds.
[TsuburayaMitsuhiko]: "Ha- Hakase?" Mitsuhiko wanted to stay... But there was Haibara-san to worry about. But... Surely she was already gone?
Gin: Damn!
* Gin watches the meat hook slowly slink away, Ran in tow via chain.
EdogawaConan: *takes advantage of the distraction to inflate his soccer ball, powering up his shoes* *kicks the ball HARD towards Gin to knock the gun out of his hands*
* Gin gets hit in the hand.
Gin: Ack!
Vodka: Aniki!
Gin: Idiot! Shoot the girl!
* Ayumi darts out and tries to throw Vodka off-balance the same way the boys tend to take down Takagi-keiji
* Vodka fumbles with the pistol but gets grappled.
* Vodka lashes out against the small girl.
* Ayumi attempts to knock the gun away from Vodka
HattoriHeiji: "Hah... I guess... she isn't so bad...” Heiji fell to the ground, getting dizzy and disoriented from blood loss.
* Gin takes another look at the kid, but then charges for his gun.
* Ayumi ducks under Vodka's swing and darts back to the control panel thing she was hiding behind before.
EdogawaConan: *shouts again into his bow tie, ignoring the fact Gin can see him* "LEAVE HER ALONE!!"
Ayumi: Let Ran-oneesan go! *yelling*
* Gin stops at his gun, half bent over, watching the strange scene with the child with an adult voice.
RanMouri: ... *Starts shivering, staring at the gun* ... S-- Shinichi--- *whispering*
* Ayumi darts off in the other direction, towards Gin
* Gin picks up the gun and turns on Conan.
Ayumi: No! Don't hurt him!!
RanMouri: NO!
Gin: ...
* Ayumi runs straight at Gin
* Vodka chases after Ayumi.
* Ayumi ducks
RanMouri: Ayumi-chan... Stay with Conan-kun, ple-- please---
Gin: ...
* Ayumi darts back behind the control thing
Ayumi: Conan-kun!
* Gin laughs.
EdogawaConan: K'so... *also hiding behind the control panel* If only I had something else to kick...
* Ayumi tries another lever
RanMouri: What do you want from Shinichi? *staring at Gin*
Ayumi: Ne, Conan-kun...*whispering*
* Gin ignores her.
Ayumi: *whispering* Is Shinichi-oniisan here?
* Gin advances slowly on the machine they are using for cover.
* Vodka advances from the other side.
HattoriHeiji: Heiji pushed himself up and tried to crawl to one of the guns. 'Kudou... Here…' Heiji grabbed one of the guns and slid it towards Conan
* HaibaraAi walks through the streets of the city towards the aquarium, using a map she got from the hotel lobby
RanMouri: *searching for a way to get rid of the chains*
* Ayumi backs up, putting her self back-to-back with Conan
Ayumi: *whispering* Conan-kun, what do we do?
Ayumi: *whispering* Is Shinichi-oniisan here?
Ayumi: *whispering* Or are we on our own?
* Gin only meters away.
EdogawaConan: *reaches behind him and grabs Ayumi's hand, considering his options; Gin was lighter, but extremely perceptive... And Vodka might not have as good of a shot, but was a lot bigger...*
* Ayumi is starting to get pretty scared, realizing there's not much she can do
* Ayumi holds Conan's hand tightly.
* Vodka is on the other side.
HattoriHeiji: Heiji was getting pissed how useless he was at this point. There was no way he could help at this point...
Ayumi: *whispering* Conan-kun? Please...PLEASE tell me that Shinichi-oniisan is here...or at least on his way?
RanMouri: *stares at Heiji, worried*
* Ayumi pulls the lever she pushed the first time, hoping that moving Ran will at least distract them....
[TsuburayaMitsuhiko]: Mitsuhiko slipped away from the group. He had a map still from earlier. He had taken it the way out when they went to the beach.
EdogawaConan: *smiles faintly to himself, realizing he had a second option, if Gin might still fall for it* Ah... Shinichi-niichan is here. *a smirk flashes across his face, and he points behind Gin* Right there.
* Ayumi looks where Conan pointed and doesn't see anything....
Ayumi: *whispering* Where?
* Gin smiles.
[TsuburayaMitsuhiko]: 'Where would Haibara-san go...?’
Gin: If it is a consolation, tantei-san, I wouldn't have looked anyway.
* RanMouri holds her breath, and while Vodka isn’t paying attention, she uses all her strength to kick him
Vodka: Kahh!
* Vodka falls over
Ayumi: *whispering* Now!
Gin: Ah!
* Ayumi darts away in the direction Vodka was blocking, trying to pull Conan with her.
* Gin aims at Ran and fires a shot.
* Ayumi panics at the shot fired...
EdogawaConan: *pushes the lever up the other way as he runs past, managing to kick Vodka's gun out of his hands before grabbing it, pulling the safety back, and shooting upwards to break the chains that have Ran held*
* Ayumi starts even more hearing the closer gunshot, and drops Conan's hand.

Intermission: [Doors slam shut!]

Gin: Detective Conan reminds you to always sit a safe distance from the TV and with proper lighting.
* Gin smiles.

HaibaraAi: (need to kill someone? call some of the best assassins in town *shows a picture of Chianti and Korn* but only from a 600 meter distance ^^)

Intermission: [doors open]

RanMouri: *chains break, and she falls to the floor* --- Ngh!
Ayumi: Ran-oneesan! *runs over to her*
* Vodka reaches out to grab Ayumi's arm as she runs off.
* Ayumi ducks
EdogawaConan: *fires another shot, grazing Vodka's shoulder*
RanMouri: Y-- You--!
* Gin fires a shot at Conan's gun.
* Ayumi jumps at the gunshot
* RanMouri runs straight at Gin
* Ayumi realizes Ran is OK and heads over to help Conan.
Ayumi: Conan-kun!
* Gin sidesteps a kick and pulls his gun up to her head, pressed firmly into her temple.
* Gin pulls her back against himself as a shield.
RanMouri: ...!!
* Ayumi freezes, seeing Ran taken hostage again.
Gin: Well, well. You're my guardian angel.
Ayumi: Ran-oneesan!
EdogawaConan: Wah! *the gun is shot out of his hands, as he takes a step back, gritting his teeth, then runs back after it, gathering it back into his hands and points it at Gin, his angle giving him a clear shot at either of the two men in black* *already has the gun pointed at Gin, but freezes slightly when Gin grabs Ran*
Ayumi: No! Don't hurt her!
* HaibaraAi sighs and gives up on the Aquarium and starts making her way back to the hotel, despite what Kudou-kun warned
* ProfessorAgasa pulls up at the hotel in the cab with Vermouth and Mitsuhiko.
Ayumi: Let Ran-oneesan go!!
* Vodka stands tense, unsure.
Vodka: Aniki...?
RanMouri: !! D-- Don’t-- hurt the kids--- *breathing hardly*
Chianti: ... ?! Darn!
* HaibaraAi spots Mitsuhiko
* Chianti rushes into the warehouse
HaibaraAi: are? Tsuburaya-kun?
HattoriHeiji: "How do you expect to cover all of this?! Huh?! The police are going to be here any minute now!" Heiji shouted across the warehouse
Chianti: GIN!! *runs* I'm sorry if you enjoy killing school girls with pretty clothes...
Ayumi: Let her go!!
Gin: Cut the formalities. I get what you're being here means.
Chianti: But we have guests.
* Ayumi sneaks closer, attempting to get within reach of Ran without upsetting the BO
* Gin lifts his gun level with Conan, then raises past it, pointing at the oil barrels lined up against the wall.
Chianti: We must get out of here.
Gin: Go!
* Gin fires at the barrels.
EdogawaConan: *tense, keeping a close eye on Vodka in case he tries to come at him, but sees Gin raise the gun* !! *fires another shot, hitting him in the shoulder, hoping to startle him into releasing Ran*
HattoriHeiji: "Shit!" Heiji saw what gin was doing
* Ayumi panics and rushes toward Ran-oneesan
HattoriHeiji: "Heiji coughed and tried to crawl away.
* Gin throws Ran on the ground and runs after Chianti.
Ayumi: Ran-oneesan!
* Vodka runs after the pair, watching the flames consume the entire warehouse as the barrels ignite each other and the walls.
* Vodka notices that the ceiling has already caught on fire.
Vodka: Aniki! The ceiling!
* Ayumi trips over part of Ran's skirt
HattoriHeiji: "Ku- Conan-kun, you guys get out of here!"
* Gin runs through the raining fire.
Ayumi: Ah! Heiji-oniisan!!
EdogawaConan: Get her out of here, Ayumi! *runs towards Hattori, snapping off one last shot towards Gin before pausing by Heiji* Hattori! *grabs him by one arm and starts to pull*
Ayumi: Conan-kun.......
Ayumi: How do we get out of here??
* Gin leaps into the driver's seat.
Ayumi: Oniisan!
* Vodka gets in the passenger's seat.
* Ayumi is starting to cry
* Ayumi tries to untie whatever is binding Ran...
HaibaraAi: Tsuburaya-kun, you haven't yet told me what happened...
* RanMouri runs and grabs Hattori, putting his arm around her shoulders
[TsuburayaMitsuhiko]: "Ha- Haibara-san... " He paused before continuing. She probably knew everything already. "I'm not sure... But apparently Conan-kun got involved into really bad people and they have Ayumi-chan and Heiji-san."
Gin: Chianti!
Gin: Get in!
HattoriHeiji: Heiji groans. "Thanks, nee-chan."
* Chianti rushes into the car
* Gin hits the gas.
HaibaraAi: *thinking* Could it be...that feeling before...
HaibaraAi: Where are they now?
EdogawaConan: ?! *glances up when Ran grabs Hattori, then narrows his eyes, nodding slightly and whips around to get the door, the gun before him in case the BO is hanging around any*
RanMouri: You're gonna be OK, Hattori-kun... Conan-kun, Ayumi-chan, start running!
* Ayumi follows Conan
[TsuburayaMitsuhiko]: "I-I don't even know... Conan-kun ran off on his skateboard."
* Warehouse begins to collapse, pieces of the ceiling falling down in flames.
Ayumi: *clinging to Conan's free arm* C-Conan-kun....
* Warehouse groans as the eastern wall begins to buckle.
RanMouri: RUN!
* Warehouse crackles as the oils and fats on the machines are swept up in flame.
HaibaraAi: *Thinking* maybe Hakase will know. *To Mitsu* Then let's go back to the hotel
HattoriHeiji: "Nee-chan. go without me. It's important that you get out of here safely"
EdogawaConan: *keeps going, trying to avoid any particularly hot spots, leading the way for Ayumi, and Ran & Hattori*
[TsuburayaMitsuhiko]: "We can't! It's dangerous... There is someone impersonating Ran-san. And... Conan-kun asked me to look after you." He grabbed her hand
Ayumi: *keeping up with Conan* Ran-oneesan! Heiji-oniisan! *yelling over her shoulder*
Ayumi: Hurry!
RanMouri: *smirks slightly* And have your death on my conscience everyday?
Ayumi: Ne, Conan-kun...? *whispering to him*
* Warehouse is STILL ON FIRE AND COLLAPSING AROUND YOU.
Ayumi: Shinichi-oniisan isn't here, is he?
Ayumi: He wasn't ever here....
RanMouri: If I leave you here... Kazuha will probably kill me! *running faster, breathing hardly*
HaibaraAi: Impersonating?! *glaring at space* Vermouth...
Ayumi: Or...maybe he's been here all along?
HattoriHeiji: "But..." Heiji got a guilty look. Kudou was in danger too.
HaibaraAi: I should have known...
* Ayumi is still following Conan and keeping up pretty well
* Warehouse devours all the evidence of the scene.
HattoriHeiji: It'd be no good if they were all gone and Kazuha was all alone...
EdogawaConan: *grabs Ayumi's hand and yanks her out of the way the last bit of the warehouse, thankful Ran was right next to them* *sighs softly*
* Warehouse cries out in irony (get it?) as the eastern wall collapses, leaving the roof awkwardly sloped and cracking as it tries to compensate.
* Ayumi is pulled the last part of the way out, stumbles, and falls to the ground, pulling Conan off-balance
[TsuburayaMitsuhiko]: "Ha- Haibara-san." he put a hand on her shoulder. "Conan-kun... Isn't normal, is he?"
* RanMouri looks at the roof for once second, watching it collapse
* Gin is long gone.
Ayumi: Sh-shouldn't we get farther away?
HattoriHeiji: Heiji passes out from pain and blood loss.
* HaibaraAi looks at Mitsuhiko in surprise
HattoriHeiji: His face is white and things don't look good for him.
Ayumi: Heiji-oniisan!
HaibaraAi: He was never normal
RanMouri: Hattori---!
HaibaraAi: how much do you know?
* Ayumi gets up off the ground and goes to try and help pull Heiji away from the still-burning building
EdogawaConan: *flips out his phone and calls for an ambulance, taking advantage of Ayumi's distraction to hide in the nearby alleyway where he left his skateboard, dialing his bowtie to his normal voice*
[TsuburayaMitsuhiko]: His face showed surprise that he knew. But it pained him. "It was all a lie?" He sighed. "I only know that something bigger is happening behind the curtains.”
Ayumi: Ran-oneesan!
* Ayumi can't figure out anything helpful to do
HaibaraAi: *closes her eyes* I won't lie, there is something bigger going on, but you would do best not to get involved. Mou, it may be too late now, but I'm sure Edogawa-kun will do his best safe us.
RanMouri: We have to get him to the hospital...
Ayumi: Hurry!
Ayumi: Ran-oneesan, Ayumi is too small to help!
EdogawaConan: Daijoobu. I just called. They'll be here in two minutes.
[TsuburayaMitsuhiko]: "I'm sure..." His face was sad with betrayal and was confused. But, he knew that things would be good. "Conan-kun is good at rescuing us, isn't he?" He smirked.
RanMouri: I'm so glad we're all safe... *smiles at Conan, getting closer to him* Thank you... *closes her eyes and faints*
Ayumi: Ran-oneesan!
Ayumi: *minor panic* Ran-oneesan!!!
Ayumi: *realizes that she's OK, just fainted* Conan-kun?
* HaibaraAi gives a small smile
Ayumi: Ne, Conan-kun? Shinichi-oniisan was never there, was he?
HattoriHeiji: Heiji's breathing gets raspier and raspier.
EdogawaConan: Ahh! *manages to catch her somewhat, blinking in surprise; he'd pocketed the gun, then glances somewhat helplessly at Ayumi*

Paramedic: [geez you people require my services at least every other episode =x stop breaking each other]

Ayumi: Or....was he with us all along?
HaibaraAi: Yes, he really is *notices fire in a distance* what is that?
* Ayumi sits next to Ran, not really able to help much
EdogawaConan: *hesitates, closing his eyes then takes his glasses off, folding them closed* Ahh... He's always there. In the shadows.
[TsuburayaMitsuhiko]: "Haibara-san..." He looks at her and to the direction in the warehouse. "He does tend to get himself into trouble, right? What if he's there..." he grew worried
Ayumi: In the shadows?
Ayumi: Or is he right here...Oniisan?
Ayumi: *looking at Conan* You used some gadget to change your voice...
HaibaraAi: Then we should see if he needs anymore help.
Ayumi: And Ai-chan said your shoes let you kick stuff...
* HaibaraAi aware that 'they' might be there, but determined to find out anyway
EdogawaConan: *slowly sets Ran down, and stands up, looking at Ayumi with a serious look*
[TsuburayaMitsuhiko]: "I'll go with you." Mitsuhiko wanted to say no and go somewhere safe. But he had a feeling she'd say no. And besides, Ayumi-chan could be in danger too!
Ayumi: Oniisan?
Ayumi: *looks up at him* A-Ayumi won't tell...promise...
* HaibaraAi with Mitsuhiko walks towards the scene
Ayumi: But....Conan-kun...isn't real, is he?
EdogawaConan: *stands there, looking at her for a long moment with a hard look in his eyes* . . .
* HaibaraAi didn't sense the BO and sighed
* Police Sirens wail loudly and approach quickly.
EdogawaConan: *sighs softly, a slight smile touching his lips* Ah... Just don't tell her, alright?
* Police converge on the scene.
Ayumi: Hai, Oniisan.
Ayumi: Ayumi will keep it secret.
* Police is now known as Police Officer
Ayumi: And Ayumi will help keep her safe...
Police Officer: Hurry! Surround the building!
Ayumi: OK? *this last is whispered to Conan as she stands up*
Police Officer: Hey, there's people. Take them all into custody!
Ayumi: Now...Now Ayumi understands why you didn't want us involved...
Vermouth-Ran: ... *types a text message to Gin* ... *sighs*
Police Officer: It looks like there's 2 unconscious. Call an ambulance!
* Warehouse isn't going down without a fight. You'll never take him alive, coppers!
* HaibaraAi notices Conan and Ayumi
* Warehouse dies in a fire.
Police Officer: and call the fire department!
* Warehouse collapses onto the next building over, to the east.
* Ayumi doesn't see Ai, being distracted by the police
[TsuburayaMitsuhiko]: "Conan-kun!" He ran up to him. He noticed how everyone was covered in soot and bruises and bleeding. "What happened?"
* HaibaraAi stands behind the corner listening in
Ayumi: Keiji-san!!
Ayumi: Help!
* ProfessorAgasa pulls up in a taxi.
Ayumi: Heiji-oniisan needs help!
EdogawaConan: *nods slightly to Ayumi, then looks up towards the police that are now running around, also able to hear the ambulance sirens* Ah, Keiji-san, I already called the ambulance.
Police Officer: its okay little girl. we're taking all of you to the hospital
Ayumi: Huh? *taken aback* But, Ayumi isn't hurt!
* HaibaraAi comes out from the corner
* HaibaraAi leans against the wall
[TsuburayaMitsuhiko]: "Ayumi-chan too. You guys..." He gets a worried look.
Police Officer: oh good boy. My officers just informed me one will arrive in a minute.
[TsuburayaMitsuhiko]: He knew there was something different...
* Paramedic rushes onto the scene with stretchers.
* Ayumi isn't sure what to do now....
EdogawaConan: *nods, then looks away towards Haibara and Mitsuhiko, able to see them through the police crowd*
[TsuburayaMitsuhiko]: "Ayumi-chan, what happened?! Heiji-san got shot?"
Ayumi: Mitsuhiko-kun!
* Paramedics triage quickly and check the vitals of the unconscious and load them onto stretchers.
Ayumi: Yeah, Heiji-oniisan got shot...
* ProfessorAgasa hurries over to Heiji.
ProfessorAgasa: Hattori-kun!
* ProfessorAgasa gasps.
Ayumi: And the building caught fire... we barely escaped....
* WatanabeEiji arrives on the scene.
[TsuburayaMitsuhiko]: Hakase! But what about that woman?!"
Ayumi: Ran-oneesan fainted, but I think she's OK....
EdogawaConan: *slips away into the crowd, sneaking away from the scene*
WatanabeEiji: Don't let anyone out! Stop everyone!
* Paramedics motions for Hakase to get into the ambulance.
HaibaraAi: *Follows Conan*
Ayumi: Conan-kun! *follows Conan*
Vermouth-Ran: ... *runs straight at Ran*
Ayumi: Wait, we can't leave....
WatanabeEiji: I want statements for everyone!
[TsuburayaMitsuhiko]: "Ayumi-chan, wait!" He grabs her arm
Paramedic: The kid's lost a lot of blood. We need to get him to the hospital, stat. I assume you're his guardian?
* Ayumi frowns at Mistu
* WatanabeEiji stops Conan & Co.
* WatanabeEiji bends down and gives a blank stare.
WatanabeEiji: That means kids too.
[TsuburayaMitsuhiko]: "Conan-kun and Haibara-san seem to be... in it together. I don't know, what's going on. But leave them be."
Ayumi: Conan-kun, we can't leave yet...
Ayumi: Let go, Mitsuhiko-kun...
Police Officer: Sir, I told them they'd all be coming to the hospital for questioning... We have found no one else at the scene.
Police Officer: My men have sealed off the area now.
* Ayumi pulls away from Mitsu and goes over by the paramedics tending Ran

* Ambulance Sirens wail into the distance as the ambulances leave.

* Paramedic wraps Ayumi in a blanket.

Vermouth-Ran: *smiles at him, walking, trying to escape*

* Paramedic pats Ayumi gently on the back

* Ayumi is trying to get the paramedic to leave her alone
* Vermouth-Ran grabs her cellphone, calling Gin
* Paramedic herds all of the rest of the on-scene non-police people into the final ambulance.
* Ayumi manages to loose the blanket
* Paramedic drives off to the hospital with all of them.
* Ayumi sneaks into Ran-oneesan's room, determined to guard her like she promised Shinichi she would.
[TsuburayaMitsuhiko]: Mitsuhiko stays with Haibara.
Ayumi: Ran-oneesan? *whispering as she enters the room*

* Ayumi climbs up onto the end of Ran's bed
HaibaraAi: "Tsuburaya-kun. You want to check on Hattori-kun, right?" Haibara sighed and hoped off the chair with her arms crossed.
[TsuburayaMitsuhiko]: He went over to Heiji-san's bed with a guilty look. "I thought I would be better for you...”
* RanMouri blinks, staring at Ayumi
RanMouri: A-- Ayumi-chan...?
Ayumi: Ran-oneesan!
Ayumi: *^_^*
Ayumi: Are you OK, Ran-oneesan?
[TsuburayaMitsuhiko]: Heiji was still asleep. Bandages were wrapped around his legs. "Sorry."
Ayumi: The doctor said you should be alright with a bit of rest...
RanMouri: Yes! W-- Where's Conan-kun?! *Worried*

* Gin answers his phone.

* RanMouri stares at her hurt wrists
Ayumi: A-Ayumi is sorry, Ran-oneesan! *looks like she's about to cry*
RanMouri: Why, Ayumi-chan? *blinking*
Nurse: Aww, I'm sorry to hear that...
Ayumi: Ayumi-chan ran into things without thinking, and put everyone in danger...
Nurse: Maybe when I make my rounds and you scrub in... you can come in with me...
Nurse: But just for a few minutes, okay?
RanMouri: I can’t remember how I got there... or why I was dressed like that...
Ayumi: And Ran-oneesan got hurt because of that...

* Nurse takes Conan to the ICU floor.

Ayumi: When Ayumi woke up, we were in that place, and Ran-oneesan was wearing that outfit and hung up...
EdogawaConan: Arigatoo, Oneesan! *smiles childishly and follows after her*
Ayumi: And then the bad guys were shooting and yelling and everything...
* Ayumi is starting to cry
RanMouri: A-- Ayumi-chan-- Don’t cry!

* Nurse shows Conan how to wash hands thoroughly and ties him into gown and mask and hair covering.

Nurse: okay... lets go visit your Hattori-nii
Ayumi: *still crying* But Heiji-oniisan got hurt...almost killed...
EdogawaConan: Mmn! *nods and follows after her, his serious expression only showing when she turns her back*
Ayumi: A-and there was the fire...and Heiji-oniisan wouldn't have been there if Ayumi hadn't been running around like that....
RanMouri: But it's not your fault! The bad guys did it!
* Ayumi looks up at her
Ayumi: A-Ayumi wanted to help...wanted to help catch the bad guys...

* Nurse enters Hattori's room and checks charts and monitors slowly to give Conan-kun time to visit.
RanMouri: Don’t say that kind of things, Ayumi-chan...
Ayumi: Shinichi-oniisan would be mad at Ayumi, for putting herself and everyone else in danger like that...
RanMouri: No, of course not! You're brave, you were trying to save us all!
[TsuburayaMitsuhiko]: "Conan-kun..."
* Ayumi stops crying, swallowing her tears to put on a brave front
RanMouri: I wish I had your courage, little princess.
Ayumi: Ayumi promised to help keep Ran-oneesan safe.

* Gin driving steadily, having picked Vermouth up.
